On October 25, 2018, the JUVE Awards were presented at the Old Opera House in Frankfurt am Main. The coveted prize is awarded annually to law firms and in-house teams that have excelled in their industry due to their outstanding achievements and development over the past 12 months. The decision is based on information from many thousands of questionnaires collected and discussions held every year by the JUVE editorial staff with clients, partners, junior lawyers and judges.

In the competitive field of media law, Lausen Rechtsanwälte was awarded Media Law Firm of the Year 2018.

The jury reasoned:

“The boutique firm has an excellent name in copyright law. Clearly positioned on the side of content providers, it can stand up to major law firms at any time. The fact that renowned scientific publishers rely on Lausen in their fight against a sharing platform proves their quality”.

In recent years, Lausen Rechtsanwälte has regularly belonged to the exclusive circle of nominees.
