At the AI@media event, Dr. Kerstin Bäcker will give a presentation on the Legal issues around the use of generative AI in the media industry.

Digital Deep Dive on artificial intelligence in media and communication
June 1, 2023
from 1:00 p.m.

The use of generative AI in everyday work brings up a range of legal questions:

  • Under what conditions can AI-generated content be protected by copyright – and who is entitled to this protection?
  • May such content be used without restriction?
  • Are there any labeling obligations?
  • The user’s responsibility for AI-generated content also plays an important role: To what extent is he liable for it and how can liability risks be reduced?

The presentation will highlight the most pressing questions surrounding the use of AI from the user’s perspective.

All further information about this conference can be found here.
