Media depends on the technologies of their distribution. For his national and international clients, Dr. Tim Kraft remains on top of the complex interfaces between these two areas of law, drawing on his in-depth expertise in supporting audiovisual media productions and their global exploitation, as well as in IT law, with a focus on data economy and e-commerce issues. Dr. Tim Kraft is a certified data protection officer (TÜV). He also advises on all aspects of trademark law.

Dr. Tim Kraft studied law in Augsburg, Munich, London (Kingston), and Cologne. During studies extended work at major law firms in Cologne and Zurich. Doctorate on compulsory licenses under antitrust law at the University of Cologne. While working on doctorate, worked for a major law firm in Düsseldorf and a World Sales for audiovisual media in Cologne. 2006 Licensing lawyer at Kinowelt GmbH, Leipzig. 2008 joined national TV channel “SUPER RTL” in Cologne, becoming Head of Legal in 2013. Joined LAUSEN in 2020. Lecturer and instructor at the University of Bonn, SAE Institute Cologne, and the Academy of German Media.
