Dr. Richard Hahn advises and represents national and international clients from the film, television, digital media and publishing industry and has a broad expertise in the legal support of media productions (fiction and non-fiction/documentaries) from development to worldwide exploitation. He also specializes in personal rights and related data protection issues. The evolving field of AI and its legal aspects have become an integral part of his daily practice.

Studied law in Munich, PhD in copyright contract law at University of Freiburg i.B., specialised lawyers degree for copyright and media law. Professional experience in various law firms in Munich and San Francisco and as an online editor for an international publishing company; at LAUSEN since 2001, partner since 2009. Regular lecturer and expert speaker eg for the Akademie der Deutschen Medien, the Institut für Urheber- und Medienrecht, the Hochschule für Fernsehen und Film München (HFF) and Hochschule Ansbach.
