Lausen is opening another office in Berlin. Marco Jung (40) is moving from the Munich team to Berlin, where he will set up the capital city office of the media law specialists.

Marco Jung has been with Lausen Rechtsanwälte for ten years, specialising in event, copyright and media law in the stage, event, film and TV sectors. He is a guest lecturer at Columbia Law School and Columbia University School of the Arts on the topics of international theatre law and theatre production.

He also holds the office of Second Chairman of the Board of the German Musical Academy and is a member of the Committee for Artistic Issues of the German Theatre Association. In 2023, he was recognised as a “Rising Star” for entertainment by one of the world’s leading legal recommendation publications, The Legal 500.

Marco Jung: “Lausen Rechtsanwälte and the cultural metropolis of Berlin are a perfect match. The expansion of advice in the entertainment segment and in digital media will be given a special focus in Berlin.”

Dr. Matthias Lausen, founder of the law firm, is delighted about the new office in Berlin: “With our new office, we can not only provide even closer support to our clients in Berlin and continue to expand, but we can also follow political developments and legislative decisions even more closely and contribute to our clients’ interests. The regulation of artificial intelligence is the best example.”

Lausen Rechtsanwälte has specialised in all areas of law relevant to the world of media since 1995. The current 19 lawyers advise national and international clients, in particular on strategic issues relating to the digitalisation of the media business.

The law firm has offices in Munich, Cologne, Hamburg and now in Berlin. The Berlin office is located in Charlottenburg at Meinekestraße 4, 10719 Berlin.
